Week 11: Storm of the Century in Washington, D.C. in 2018

trump the storm is coming week 11 hillary going down

Happy 2018 to you, friends!

As the Christmas-New Years break is almost over, the lull in the storm should be ending too.

After almost three months of congressional and DOJ investigations into and against the Deep State, I can’t imagine that there are many doubters left.

I would expect this to be the year we’ll see members of the swamp fully turn on each other and for legal proceedings to begin in earnest. Washington, D.C. will look a lot different by the end of 2018.

Those Initially Targeted by the Executive Order

Julian Assange Has Been Busy

I’ve been a bit out of the loop the past few days. Here are a few items I’m just catching up on…

It is clearly personal between Hillary Clinton and Julian Assange. She’s one of those most responsible for his detention in the embassy. Time for a little revenge, maybe?

Remember Cablegate from 2010? Well, it’s coming back into the news.

Here is proof of collusion between The New York Times and the Hillary Clinton-led State Department.

In the next tweet, Assange makes an assertion about the timing of his arrest warrant in that same year.

And then Assange released the following encryption key:

I’d say he’s about to go nuclear on someone…

Another Example of Clinton Foundation Taking Blood Money

This is an article from 2016, and the related Clinton peccadilloes contained in it date to 1996, but even forgotten truths have a way of reemerging when critical mass is reached.

I spoke of the Clinton Foundation’s relationship with blood diamond king, Dan Gertler in an earlier storm thread. That was not an isolated scheme. From The Daily Caller:

A little known Swedish-Canadian oil and mining conglomerate human rights groups have repeatedly charged produces “blood minerals” is among the Clinton Foundation’s biggest donors, thanks to a $100 million pledge in 2007, a Daily Caller News Foundation investigation has found.

“Blood minerals” are related to “blood diamonds,” which are allegedly mined in war zones or sold as commodities to help finance political insurgencies or despotic warlords.

When the Vancouver, Canada-based Lundin Group gave its $100 million commitment to the “Clinton Giustra Sustainable Growth Initiative,” the company had long been cutting deals with warlords, Marxist rebels, military strongmen and dictatorships in the war-torn African countries of Congo, Sudan and Ethiopia.

Lundin promoted its reputation as a fierce, hard-driving company. Adolf Lundin, who founded the company, audaciously traveled to the French home of Congo dictator Mobutu Sese Seko in 1996 to secure mining rights for his company.

In accepting the $100 million, President Bill Clinton hailed Lundin’s contribution, saying “today’s generous support by the Lundin Group is to be applauded because it demonstrates the potential of this global initiative to capture the imagination and support of the mining sector.”

It wasn’t the first time Clinton consorted with mining moguls. In the waning hours of his presidency in 2001, Clinton pardoned Glencore International mining and oil magnate Marc Rich after his wife, Denise, made generous donations to the Democratic Party, Hillary Clinton’s Senate campaign and his Clinton Library.

Classified Info on Weiner Laptop Likely Hacked

The Judicial Watch FOIA referenced in the last storm thread looks to have paid some dividends after all. This is hardly unexpected news that more classified Clinton/Abedin emails were stored on the Weiner computer, but proof is always nice.

Late last week the FBI released thousands of emails belonging to top Clinton aide Huma Abedin. She stored them on currently imprisoned ex-Congressman Anthony Weiner’s laptop. The two were married during Hillary Clinton’s time at the State Department and often shared the computer.

The emails were forced out after a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit from Judicial Watch and reveal that not only did Abedin have at least five emails on the computer and Clinton’s unsecured private server which were classified, they were more than likely hacked by foreign adversaries because she used a Yahoo account.

It did not escape the president’s attention, naturally…

Devastating Article About FBI Handling of E-Mail Server Scandal

From John Solomon of The Hill. He deserves a Pulitzer for his work this past year. The written evidence and the admission of false statements by the techie who erased Clinton’s messages alluded to below are key. Lots of people are now officially bent over the legal barrel.

I recommend giving the whole article a read. Here is the most important excerpt:

Republicans on key congressional committees say they have uncovered new irregularities and contradictions inside the FBI’s probe of Hillary Clinton’s email server.

For the first time, investigators say they have secured written evidence that the FBI believed there was evidence that some laws were broken when the former secretary of State and her top aides transmitted classified information through her insecure private email server, lawmakers and investigators told The Hill.

That evidence includes passages in FBI documents stating the “sheer volume” of classified information that flowed through Clinton’s insecure emails was proof of criminality as well as an admission of false statements by one key witness in the case, the investigators said.

The name of the witness is redacted from the FBI documents but lawmakers said he was an employee of a computer firm that helped maintain her personal server after she left office as America’s top diplomat and who belatedly admitted he had permanently erased an archive of her messages in 2015 after they had been subpoenaed by Congress.

The computer worker is not named by the investigators referenced in the article. But it is almost assuredly Mr. Bleachbit of Platte River Networks, Paul Combetta.

Remember this?

You can’t wipe away justice with a cloth, Hillary…

Or with a Fire

Ha, no I don’t really believe they were dousing evidence with gasoline, but I’m not going to let that get in the way of a good intro. Burning stuff in their own home is not the Clinton way. Their goose is already cooked with publicly-available evidence.

That said, I have a feeling we’ll be hearing more about this fire in the coming days.

Evidence Clinton Maid had Access to Classified Material

Paul Sperry pointed this out last year. Here are a few of his recent tweets on this:

And Peter Strzok never bothered interviewing Ms. Santos.

Good catch!

It Appears At Least One Comey Memo Given to His Columbia Professor Friend Contained Classified Info

This is from Senator Grassley’s Office. If media reports that stated the professor was given four memos are accurate, then James Comey is in legal trouble. For a similar offense than what he let HRC slide on, oddly enough.

Unless, that is, he’s part of the sting operation. Read my article about Comey’s Gambit from mid-June. Nobody of Comey’s intelligence would do something so haphazardly at face value.

Here is a portion of Grassley’s letter to Rod Rosenstein.

Dear Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein:
This Committee has previously written to the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation about the memoranda that former Director Comey created purportedly memorializing his interactions with President Trump.[1]  My staff has since reviewed these memoranda in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) at the FBI, and I reviewed them in a SCIF at the Office of Senate Security.  The FBI insisted that these reviews take place in a SCIF because the majority of the memos are classified.  Of the seven memos, four are marked classified at the “SECRET” or “CONFIDENTIAL” levels.  Only three did not contain classified information.  FBI personnel refused to answer factual questions during the document reviews, including questions about the chain of custody of the documents I was reviewing, the date that they were marked classified, and who marked them as classified.
According to press reports, Professor Daniel Richman of Columbia Law School stated that Mr. Comey provided him four of the seven memoranda and encouraged him to “detail [Comey’s] memos to the press.”[2]  If it’s true that Professor Richman had four of the seven memos, then in light of the fact that four of the seven memos the Committee reviewed are classified, it would appear that at least one memo the former FBI director gave Professor Richman contained classified information.[3]  Professor Richman later read a portion of one of the memos to a New York Times reporter.[4]
When the Committee contacted Professor Richman seeking copies of the memos Mr. Comey had provided him, he refused to provide them, did not say how many he had received from Mr. Comey, and refused to say whether he retained copies.[5]  It is unclear whether any of the memos reviewed by the Committee were retrieved from Professor Richman.  The Committee has accordingly not determined which of the seven memos Mr. Comey provided him.  Professor Richman did tell Committee investigators that he was working with the Special Counsel’s Office, and he reportedly told the media that he had turned over to the FBI copies of the memos he’d received from Mr. Comey.[6]  If true, the Justice Department should know which memos were provided and be able to share that information with the Committee.

I’ll be posting my thoughts about the Trump-Bannon “feud” tonight on Patreon.

Daily Beast: DOJ Looking Into Clinton E-Mail Case Again

The reaction from the Clinton’s paid flaks alone is worth the read.

Justice Department officials are taking a fresh look at Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while she served as secretary of State, The Daily Beast has learned.

An ally of Attorney General Jeff Sessions who is familiar with the thinking at the Justice Department’s Washington headquarters described it as an effort to gather new details on how Clinton and her aides handled classified material. Officials’ questions include how much classified information was sent over Clinton’s server; who put that information into an unclassified environment, and how; and which investigators knew about these matters and when. The Sessions ally also said officials have questions about immunity agreements that Clinton aides may have made.

The following quote is rich in hypocrisy, considering how Obama and Clinton turned the DOJ and State Department into cover-up and personal enrichment rackets.

Brian Fallon, formerly a spokesperson for the Justice Department and Clinton’s presidential campaign, said he suspects DOJ officials are engaging in perfunctory steps “to give Trump and his allies something to talk about and point to, and something to give Fox News to devote segments to.”

“I think that even that is extremely dangerous, and that the Justice Department should not be opening itself up to the perception that it is bending to political pressures from the White House,” Fallon continued. “The Justice Department is supposed to operate independently of the White House, and even if this is just a perfunctory step that they’re taking to try to appease the president, that in and of itself is an abuse of the DOJ authority.”

When in doubt, the Deep State will cry about “abuses of power” or “dictatorships” whenever someone holds them accountable for their misdeeds.

Nick Merrill, Secretary Clinton’s communications director, had this to say:

“As Trump begins the new year with Steve Bannon calling his campaign treasonous and indictments and guilty pleas piling up, he resorts to diversion and distraction like clockwork, with the help of his attorney general. Few matters have been more scrutinized than emails, and it was determined that there was no wrongdoing. Trump’s behavior shows a profound disrespect for the rule of law and an unprecedented abuse of power—with his attorney general following suit at every turn. It tarnishes our justice system, and should be deeply troubling to all Americans.”
Man-oh-man, does Merrill ever get it wrong about the reason for the Bannon diversion. They still don’t know exactly how they are being rope-a-doped even now…
Had to do all caps there.
All that’s left to do is wait and figure out how to spike the football.
From John Solomon of The Hill:

The Justice Department has launched a new inquiry into whether the Clinton Foundation engaged in any pay-to-play politics or other illegal activities while Hillary Clinton served as Secretary of State, law enforcement officials and a witness tells The Hill.

FBI agents from Little Rock, Ark., where the Foundation was started, have taken the lead in the investigation and have interviewed at least one witness in the last month, and law enforcement officials said additional activities are expected in coming weeks.

The officials, who spoke only on condition of anonymity, said the probe is examining whether the Clintons promised or performed any policy favors in return for largesse to their charitable efforts or whether donors made commitments of donations in hopes of securing government outcomes.

The probe may also examine whether any tax-exempt assets were converted for personal or political use and whether the Foundation complied with applicable tax laws, the officials said.

The Foundation is the big enchilada. Through the CF, the links will be found to everything rotten the Clintons have done in their time in the public. From Saudi princes to Marc Rich and blood diamonds to organ harvesting and human trafficking schemes in Haiti and Bangladesh.

The e-mail scandal was always the least of it. Maybe our modern Al Capone goes to prison for something other than tax evasion.

I don’t know how I missed this one from six days ago:

A first cousin of Huma Abedin, a former aide to presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and soon to be ex-wife of disgraced former U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner, was convicted Tuesday in a fraud case involving fake emails.

Omar Amanat, 44, and his colleague Kaleil Tuzman face more than a decade in prison after a jury in New York City found the pair guilty of cooking the books and defrauding shareholders of the technology company Kit Digital between 2010 and 2012.

Amanat’s brother, Irfan Amana, was also arrested in the United Arab Emirates and faces charges of fraud with the same tech firm, the New York Post reported.

Judge Paul Gardephe revoked Amanat’s bail after Assistant U.S. Attorney Andrea Griswold said he was a flight risk, and chastised the father of six children for his “disregard and a disdain for the courts and legal process.”

“The evidence of their criminal schemes was so overwhelming that Amanat actually tried to fool the jury by introducing fake emails into the record as exculpatory ‘evidence’ in this trial,” Acting Manhattan U.S. Attorney Joon H. Kim said in a release. “Unfortunately for Tuzman and Amanat, the jury saw through their tangled web of lies, convicting them on all counts.”

Nunes and Intel Committee Expanding Investigation into DOJ/FBI Handling of Russia Probe

And lookity at who is going to have to testify:

“The materials we are requesting are vital to the Committee’s investigation of potential abuses into intelligence and law enforcement agencies’ handling of the Christopher Steele dossier,” Nunes writes in the letter. “The Committee is extremely concerned by indications that top U.S. Government officials who were investigating a presidential campaign relied on unverified information that was funded by the opposing political campaign and was based on Russian sources.”

Several key FBI officials will be forced to testify before the Intelligence Committee this month, including former DOJ Associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr; FBI Supervisory Special Agent Peter Strzok; former FBI General Counsel James Baker; FBI Attorney Lisa Page; FBI Attorney Sally Moyer; FBI Assistant Director Greg Brower; FBI Assistant Director Bill Priestap; and FBI Special Agent James Rybicki.

Breathtaking evening.

My Patreon Article About The Trump-Bannon Feud

Titled “Grand Illusion

Grassley and Graham Refer Steele to DOJ for Investigation

The title of this storm thread is looking to be entirely appropriate. A lot of mysteries from the past few years are going to be made clearer each week and eventually solved.

Go long stenographers and bailiffs. There’s gonna be a lot of testimony and swearing of oaths to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth…

WASHINGTON – Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime and Terrorism Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) referred the author of the “Trump Dossier,” Christopher Steele, to the Justice Department for investigation of potential violations of 18 U.S.C. § 1001 for false statements investigators have reason to believe Steele made about the distribution of claims contained in the dossier.

Yesterday evening, Grassley and Graham delivered to Senate Security a letter and classified memorandum for delivery to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray containing information that forms the basis of the referral.
Under 18 U.S.C. § 1001, individuals are prohibited from making false statements to the federal authorities of the United States. Grassley and Graham are referring Steele for making potentially false statements about the distribution of claims from the dossier.
This referral does not pertain to the veracity of claims contained in the dossier. The referral is for further investigation only, and is not intended to be an allegation of a crime.

The Takedown of the MSM through Michael Wolff has Begun

This pertains to what I said in my Patreon article of a few days ago regarding the Trump-Bannon “rift”. Almost like clockwork.

Here is the Stephen Miller-Jake Tapper interview referenced:

Bannon, meanwhile, has been busy issuing clarifications.

Wolff has been making the media rounds, giving the left what they crave; juicy quotes about Trump being “like a child” and mentioning the Get Trump ploy du jour – talking about invoking the 25th Amendment.

Those involved in this game, I believe, are painting Wolff into a corner, where he will eventually be forced to put up proof of the validity of the quotes (which I doubt he possesses) that he attributed to people in the administration. Trump knows what he’s doing. He’s purposely raised the profile of this book in order to shoot it down because he knows that what Wolff was given was planted. The Admin probably gave Wolff a few legitimate tidbits in order to set up the plant of fake news. They’ve done this to the media-at-large for months. Bait with chickenfeed, and walk away with dinner. To their credit, a few members of the MSM might be figuring out the tactic and are highlighting Wolff’s checkered relationship with the truth.

Wolff should ask Brian Ross how it feels to be in the camp of disgraced journalists. He’ll be joining him shortly.
