And now that the Kabuki seems to be transitioning between Acts, it appears he will get them soon.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes is demanding that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein comply with the committee’s request to “fully produce responsive documents and provide the requested witnesses” with regard to the controversial and unverified dossier that put the Trump campaign under surveillance, according to a letter sent by Nunes to Rosenstein.

Nunes, R-CA, chided the Justice Department and the FBI for its failure to produce the “basic investigatory documents” demanded through the committee’s subpoenas issued over four months prior, in a Dec. 28, letter. The chairman also noted that the DOJ was “disingenuous” when it informed the committee in early December, that some of the documents requested did not exist.

“As a result of the numerous delays and discrepancies that have hampered the process of subpoena compliance, the Committee no longer credits the representations made by DOJ and/or the FBI regarding these matters,” stated Nunes, in the letter. “Accordingly, DOJ and the FBI are instructed to promptly produce to the Committee-no later than January 3, 2018.”

Department of Justice spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores told this reporter that the DOJ is expected to respond to Nunes’ request this evening.
